Cymraeg bob dydd

Welsh is part of everyday life at Cwmfelinfach, in class, in assembly and at home.

Cymraeg Campus

Bronze and Silver won. Gold in our sights.

Cymraeg Campus is a Language Charter used to promote the Welsh language throughout the school, across the curriculum and in all areas of school life. So far we have been awarded both the Efydd (Bronze) and Arian (Silver) awards, and we are now working towards Aur (Gold).

Criw Cymraeg

Pupils leading the way

Criw Cymraeg is made up of two members from each class from Year 3 to Year 6. Our job is to make sure that children and staff are using as much Welsh as possible at all times. Mrs Crook and Mrs Hawkins help us, and we also hold meetings with the Criw Cymraeg from Ynysddu Primary to share good ideas.

We hold a fortnightly Gwasanaeth Cymraeg (Welsh assembly) and share Gem yr Wythnos (game of the week) and Brawddeg yr Wythnos (phrase of the week).
